No excuses there. The sailboat was even under sail. Nobody was hurt, fortunately.
UPDATE: The Charter boat that quite apparently collided with the sailboat is owned by a new fishing charter company. According to Pete, the charter boat was out on it's first paying trip. Not an auspicious start.

Sails up was the kicker. Takes right of way from charter boat. Hate to speculate because shit happens. Just glad no injuries and hope one sails next week and another boat fishes.
