The New York Times’ newest editorial hire has a history of racist tweets against white people.The New York Times now has a strict policy against hiring heterosexuals, white people, or anyone who disagrees with Sarah Jeong.
NYT announced on Wednesday that they hired Sarah Jeong to join their editorial board. Jeong previously wrote for the Verge and authored “The Internet of Garbage,” a book about online harassment and free speech.
Shortly after Jeong’s hire, Twitter users unearthed old tweets in which she expressed an extreme distaste for white people.
“Dumbass f–king white people marking up the internet with their opinions like dogs p–sing on fire hydrants,” she tweeted in 2016. . . .
The New York Times has yet to comment on Jeong’s racist past, however some Twitter users pointed out that they previously fired Quinn Norton after learning that she had tweeted derogatory terms about black and gay people. .

Life sure must be hard for her. This is what happens when a smart Asian girl doesn't go into STEM. If she'd ever learned to integrate under a curve, I'll bet she wouldn't have turned out so hateful.
But Vox, now Vox admits, we don't know anybody who doesn't talk like that: THIS IS PROBABLY TRUE, BUT IT’S NOT MUCH OF A DEFENSE:

The NYTimes has hated America for over 100 years. 90 years ago they hired a KGB agent to be their "foreign Correspondent" and smear America. He told lies about America in the NYT for about 15 years. The name of this USSR agent was Walter Duranty. The Pulitzer folk have also hated America for over 100 years. They were so impressed with Duranty's america hate that they award him the America Hater of the year award. aka the 1932 Pulitzer Prize.
ReplyDeleteIn 1990 the former USSR Premier (Mikey I think - had a red birthmark on face,) gave former President Ron a list of 1,000 KGB agents who had worked for the USSR in America from 1940 to 1981. Duranty mason the list.
Many Conservatives said, "See we told ya so!" they raised Hell. 20 years ago the NYT said approximately, "We have become aware of the fact that one of our writers was in fact an agent for the USSR. While this may have TAINTED his articles, we stand by them."
If the NYT ever did not hate America it was decades before my time!
