Skye and I left pretty early to get to the beach this morning. Along the way we found Skye's friend Bambi . . .
. . . and the weirdest thing at the harbor. The rocks along the sides were just loaded with crabs of all all sizes. There must be low oxygen in the water to drive them near the surface, and even out onto the rocks like that. I've never seen them that dense.
Otherwise a gorgeous, if somewhat sticky day. It started in the high 70s and finished in the low 80s by the time we finished. And only a few people out on the beach.
Skye taking advantage of the small fresh water stream at Calvert Beach to take a rest.
