Beach Report, 8/7/19

Hot and sweaty at the beach, so we decided to drive down. As usual, we had plenty of space to walk.

One of the Great Blue Herons was fishing off the groin.

And the butterflies were puddling. This one is a Spicebush Swallowtail, and like most puddling butterflies, it is a male, as indicated by the green, rather than blue wash on the hind wings.
A few people up near the harbor.
