The 7/26/19 Beach Report

It was another pretty nice day, although the heat is starting to pick again. Skye and I took off for the beach shortly after lunch, and I found this Sleepy Orange butterfly on the roadside on the way down. I've only identified one before (although I think I've seen more)
When we got down to the beach, this Bald Eagle was circling and trying to pick something up off the water. I don't think it succeeded. Maybe it can find an Osprey to hijack.
A boat just out of the harbor, getting it's sails set.
The Spotted Bee Balm is starting to flower in the dunes.

 A few from yesterday.
