Fact Checking Billy Bush

Donald Trunp, Arianne Zucker and Billy Bush
Pretty good settlement, if that's what it is, and not a reward for potentially torpedoing the Trump presidential candidacy: Billy Bush and his lawyer 'are hashing out expected $10m NBC settlement' after the host was booted from the Today show following his lewd comments about Arianne Zucker
Billy Bush may get a whopping $10 million settlement from NBC after being booted from the Today show following the release of his and Donald Trump's lewd remarks during a 2005 interview.

Bush, who signed a three-year contract with NBC, is in the process of battling NBC News for a settlement that could equate to about $10 million, sources told Page Six.
. . .
Bush's attorney also spoke with The Hollywood Reporter about the 2005 interview with Trump, saying that his client would have been risking his job if he had not laughed at Trump's statements and made lewd comments of his own.

'If Billy had been passive or responded 'Shut the f*** up' to Trump, Billy would have been out of a job the next day,' said Grossman.

The former Today anchor was axed from the morning show after The Washington Post released the 2005 interview between him and Trump.
I haven't listened to the tape itself, but it is reported that Billy Bush called actress, Arianne Zucker, a 'hot piece of a**' in a conversation with Trump. Let's fact check that statement, shall we?

Close enough, but was it worth losing a job over?
