FBI’s attempt to show Clinton probe was nonpartisan keeps running into politics. The Washington Post editorial board complains about Comey's decision to release some of the FBI's investigative reports to the Congress, because, you know, it might hurt Hillary:
In this case, it seems a bad precedent to put the Clinton investigative materials before Congress. Will lawmakers demand more such sensitive documents in the future? If informants know their cooperation with the FBI might eventually be shared with members of Congress, will it have a chilling effect?By suitable declassification process, I assume they mean something that happens long after the end of a second 8 year Clinton term.
At this point, the best course of action, and the most transparent, would be to put the documents through a suitable declassification process and then release them for all to see. But it shouldn’t have come to that.
The cover up continues. TOP 6 HILLARY EMAILS WE'VE YET TO SEE: Strangely, the Obama Administration is Stonewalling Them
As if you didn't know already, never trust content from Facebook: Facebook Falsely Claims Colin Powell Cleared Hillary In Email Case. I covered Powell's response to Hillary's claim that he, in effect, gave his blessing to her unsecured basement email scheme yesterday, but now we find Mark Zuckerburg's Facebook is passing out false "trending" stories.
Facebook’s “Trending Topics” section is at it again. Saturday morning the site ran a headline in the section declaring, “Colin Powell: Former Secretary of State Confirms He Recommended Using Personal Email to Hillary Clinton.” The only problem is Powell made no such declaration and he denied Clinton’s claim.Democrats are starting to preemptively bitch about the potential for the DNC hacking to affect the elections: Democrats fear hackers targeted tight Florida races for latest data leaks
Once clicked, the “Trending Topics” story takes you to a picture of the two former secretaries of state with a caption reading, “Colin Powell: Former Secretary of State Confirms He Recommended Using Personal Email to Hillary Clinton. Powell told Clinton using personal email ‘vastly improved’ communication with his department, he said in a release Thursday. She revealed this to the FBI in July, the New York Times reported.”
The only problem is it didn’t happen. . .
The documents, hacked from the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), which raises funds for the party's House candidates, are detailed dossiers describing the Florida candidates' backgrounds, including personal details, as well as political, economic and demographic profiles of the strategic congressional districts. An ultra-liberal comes to the realization that Hillary Clinton’s Ethics Problems Are Worse Than She Understands. Since 1996, the parties winning the counties in the Interstate 4 corridor between Orlando and Tampa, where several of the targeted districts are located, have won the presidency.
The 12th and final annual meeting of the Clinton Global Initiative will showcase its philanthropic work and also the Democratic nominee’s greatest potential vulnerability — her ties to a sprawling global charity that has accepted donations from Middle Eastern governments, foreign businessmen with checkered histories and major corporations with business before the government.Speaking of hobnobbing with the ultra-rich Lady Lynn Forester de Rothschild throws Hillary fundraiser.
Some Democratic operatives say they’re dismayed by the timing of the three-day conference Sept. 19-21 — a week before the first national debate and seven weeks before Election Day. They say it’s inevitable that having two members of the former and perhaps future first family rubbing shoulders with the well-heeled and well-connected will provide fresh ammunition to the Republican campaign, even as Hillary Clinton is off honing rebuttals to charges that donors got special consideration from the government while she was Secretary of State.

She can't walk on water? Well, she can hardly walk on land. Clinton's health continues to spur controversy and conspiracy. Ruth Marcus whines that Trump attacking Clinton's health is ageist and sexist:
The Democratic presidential nominee and her right hand, Huma Abedin, are expected to spend the night at the oceanfront home featured last year in Architectural Digest. Lynn is one of Hillary’s most fervent supporters.
It’s obvious what’s going on here. The strength-stamina combo is a gender-age twofer, a double whack at Clinton for the price of one. Hillary campaign indicates fascism will have a large role in her Presidency
Hillary Clinton’s campaign has offered us a glimpse into her potential administration. It’s clear that fascism will play no small part. Clinton’s campaign has vowed to crush the opposition press. In a Clinton administration, I'm afraid it will be criminal to disparage the queen.
Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton’s campaign has sent out a fundraising email arguing the website Breitbart News has no “right to exist,” and suggests that if elected, the website will be shut down entirely.Make no mistake about the intention:
“We’ve had a conservative media in this country for a while,” says the email, sent Thursday and signed by deputy communications director Christina Reynolds. “I don’t always like what they have to say, but I respect their role and their right to exist Reynolds’ acknowledgment that the regular conservative media has a “right to exist,” though, is used to contrast it with Breitbart, which apparently has no such right.
One of the goals of Clinton’s campaign, Reynolds says, is to ensure Breitbart is destroyed. This will come as no surprise to anyone who has paid any attention to Hillary over the years. Here is a sampling of some of her quotes over the years. . .
