Shark Sightings Continue in Cape Cod

"This is my good side"
A few days ago I relayed the news that at least two Great White Sharks had been spotted off Cape Cod swimming beaches.  Well, they're still there:
ORLEANS – A shark sighting off of Nauset Beach caused an evacuation of the water and closed the beach to swimming Saturday afternoon.

The sighting was reported just after 2 p.m., according to Orleans Harbormaster Dawson Farber. The great white shark is an estimated 12 to 14 feet long, he said.
...
There have been three sharks spotted on-Cape since June 30. It is believed the high number of seals, which sharks feed on, have caused the increase in shark sightings.

  1. Big sharks are very scary to be near. I wonder if these sharks have hurt the tourism of Cape Cod at all. My friend was looking at some Cape Cod vacation rentals and now having second thoughts (doesn't like sharks).
