Annals of the Biden Crime Family: Hunter's Laptop Story Rebooted

With the election safely over, a book to sell (hey, crack doesn't buy itself), and media interviews to weather , Hunter has finally started to address the laptop. Of course, he's in denial mode saying it might be his, but it might also be a  Russian op, or it could be the Grey Aliens. PM, Hunter Biden says 'of course' the infamous laptop could be his

Now that he’s finally conceded that, yes, it’s probably his, perhaps reporters will start asking the other questions they didn’t ask in the fall of 2020:

* Did you plan on going into business with your father on a massive Chinese investment fund? For how long was Joe involved?

* Is Tony Bobulinski lying when he says he met with Joe Biden about this endeavor, and the current president said “look after my family”?

* An email says the split on that endeavor was “20 H,” “10 Jim,” and “10 held by H for the big guy.” Is Joe Biden the big guy?

* Why did the Chinese oligarch behind that fund give you a diamond? How long did he pay you for? What did you do for him?

* In your emails, an official from the Ukrainian gas company Burisma thanks you for meeting your father. Joe Biden’s campaign said no official meeting ever took place. Was there an informal meeting? How much did you discuss with your dad what you were doing?

There are many more. Hunter and Joe won’t answer us, we’ve tried. They’d rather just shout “smear campaign” and “hack.” How long is the media going to buy it?

Also from NYPo, and free from the responsibility of winning the election for Joe Biden,  NPR issues stunning mea culpa after claiming Hunter Biden laptop story was ‘discredited’ by intelligence

National Public Radio has corrected an online article that falsely asserted that documents from first son Hunter Biden’s laptop had been “discredited by U.S. intelligence.”

A book review of Hunter Biden’s memoir “Beautiful Things” initially dismissed the documents first reported in October by The Post.

“The laptop story was discredited by US intelligence and independent investigations by news organizations,” the book review by Ron Elving, senior editor of the publicly funded media organization, initially claimed.

The correction on the Thursday article now says, “A previous version of this story said US intelligence had discredited the laptop story. US intelligence officials have not made a statement to that effect.”

Ace, NPR Issues Major Correction, Retracting Intentionally-False Election Season Disinformation That the Hunter Biden Story Had Been "Discredited" By "Intelligence" "Deliberate lies and Soviet-level disinformation pumped into the body politic by our communist radical China-compromised corporate press.

Why the retraction, now?

Well, 1, it's after the election, so the disinformation campaign is no longer the top priority.

And 2, it's hard to maintain the fiction after the crackhead accused child molester admits the laptop "certainly could be" his.

NPR delenda est.

Plenty of follow up on the Hunter gun story too. Chuck Ross at Da Caller, GOP Senators Demand FBI, Secret Service Records On Alleged Hunter Biden Gun Incident. Da Fed, Republican Senators Demand To Know Secret Service Involvement In Hunter Biden Gun Scandal. Wa Free Bee, Gun-Rights Advocates Want Feds to Look at Prosecuting Hunter Biden. Good luck with that. I can already see the "no reasonable prosecutor" excuse being formulated.

Grabien, Jesse Kelly: Unlike Hunter Biden, I’d Be Talking To You Ffrom Ft. Leavenworth If I Lied On My Federal Gun Form. NYPo, Eric Trump says he’d be in jail for allegedly lying like Hunter Biden over gun scandal. Of course.

John Solomon at JTN, Hunter Biden blockbuster: Memos detail quiet effort to assist indicted Ukrainian oligarch

Hunter Biden and his business partner engaged in an effort to assist a fugitive Ukrainian oligarch indicted by his father's administration, an effort that briefly captured the FBI's attention and led one of the lawyers in the case to express concern that using the then-vice president's son might backfire, according to emails, text messages and interviews.

The effort by Hunter Biden and Devon Archer to assist Dmitri Firtash began in spring 2015 when they were contacted by one of the oligarch's associates, and an American lawyer for the oligarch was instructed to provide them an overview of the case, including desires to contact U.S. government officials.

Firtash, one of Ukraine's wealthiest businessmen, already had been indicted by the Obama-Biden administration more than a year earlier on corruption charges in Chicago, allegations that Firtash has long denied. Firtash was challenging extradition to the United States from Austria, where he was living, and was seeking to return to his home country of Ukraine, where the economy and security teetered after a Russian invasion of its Crimean region.

NYPo, Trump takes shot at Hunter Biden, says kids must stay from drugs, booze, cigs. Cigarettes are the least of Hunter's vices. Da Blaze, Hunter Biden lashes out at Trump and denies Ukraine scandal allegations in new book. I didn't do nuffin' for that $800K. They just gave it to me for being such a cool guy.

Wa Free Bee, Biden’s Pick for Top Labor Spot Oversaw Fraudulent, Broken Unemployment System

As California's secretary of labor, Julie Su oversaw an unemployment website plagued by glitches and improper payments. The website repeatedly crashed throughout the COVID-19 pandemic and was down as recently as this month. These systemic failures pose a challenge for Su, whom Biden has nominated to serve as deputy labor secretary.

Su has faced bipartisan pushback during her confirmation hearings, with moderate Democratic senators, including Joe Manchin (W. Va.), under pressure to join Republicans in opposing Su's nomination. The Senate recently confirmed former Boston mayor Marty Walsh as secretary of labor with significant bipartisan support.

California's unemployment site had more than 1 million unprocessed claims in March. The California Employment Development Department (EDD), which manages the unemployment claim process, did not respond to a request for comment on the backlog or on Su's handling of the problems with the unemployment system. The department did acknowledge "an intermittent issue" with the site after multiple reports of crashing.

In January, California officials said that more than $11 billion of unemployment benefits paid during the coronavirus pandemic were fraudulent, with another $19 billion still under investigation by state officials. In addition to these payments, Su oversaw the fraudulent payments of nearly $1 billion to prison inmates in what the Sacramento County district attorney described as "one of the biggest frauds of taxpayer dollars in California history." The fraud involved the filing of more than 35,000 unemployment claims under the names of California prison inmates that were paid out between March and August of 2020.
