A pretty good day for July. Temperatures were in the low 80s when we left home before lunch. Along the way to the beach we saw this Black Snake (officially called an Eastern Ratsnake) hanging hour in a berry thicket. Literally. I'm sure you'll have to click on the picture to embiggen it to see it.
A storm on the way.
Georgia found this very nice White Shark tooth among the 21 teeth we found today despite the very high tide. Unfortunately, the cellphone camera chose to focus on Skye and not the tooth.
By the time we got back to the parking lot, the pop up storm was passing just to the south, with a few sharp thunder claps. We got a few drops of rain from a later one.
