Underwear Model Sets Off Uproar

The advert featuring Danish actress Klara Kristen, 22, features an upskirt shot that shows off her spotty underwear, inner thighs and buttocks with the caption: 'I flash in #mycalvins'.

However, the racy image has been branded creepy, sexist and 'fodder for paedophiles' since the design house posted it to Instagram yesterday. . . .

X_reloved_x commented: 'This is really off. What is Calvin Klein advertising in this her spotty undies?? She looks more like a 12-year-old. Good picture for paedophiles.'

Hybridsymphony agreed with their argument, saying: 'Misogynistic rubbish bordering on peadophilia. Gross. Some disturbed old guys wet dream.
Klara Kristin defended her posing:
Calvin Klein has been largely criticised for the shots, with some accusing it of being predatory, Kristin said she was people were just "scared of the female human body."

"All this discussion about it makes me think about how alienated and scared some people are to the female human body … Be and love yourself and your sexuality,” she wrote on Instagram.

Headlines from around the world expressed shock at the style of photography, including USA Today's 'Calvin Klein uses crotch shot in new ad and it's uncomfortable' and the New York Post's 'Calvin Klein is marketing to perverts'.

She might look like a teenager, but Klara is 23 and is best known for her role in Love, a 3-D movie about sex.
She does look kind of young. . .

  1. Not so much young as scrawny. Someone really needs to convince her to eat a few cheeseburgers, maybe some Twinkies.
