It was 86 F, mostly sunny, and a little bit humid; in other words, a better than average summer day in Southern Maryland.
Georgia found this really nice extinct Mackerel Shark tooth (it differs from some other Makos by having the two smaller cusps outside the main cusp). It's not one of our common teeth.
She also picked up this Cow Shark tooth. Two top shelf teeth in one day! Overall, we found 26 shark's teeth and 1 drum's tooth.
Another shark tooth hunter, not having a lot of luck.
No eagles in evidence but the Ospreys were hunting.
