Today was overcast and cool, well, for August, and spitting rain, but only rarely.
Down the beach there were a bunch of people out, some clearly shark's tooth hunting, others just enjoying the walk and the view.
I thought I'd throw this up here to show how the Kudzu swallows the cliffs, the beach and even many of the trees. It's about as thick as it will get now. At the low end, the salt keeps it back, and at the high end? I don't know, shade maybe.
Anchored in close.
A large clump of Trumpet Vine. Do you see the butterfly?
How about now?
When I got back to the start, Georgia was there with the "cat who ate the canary look."
In addition to the usual selection of small teeth, Georgia had found the edge broken off a pretty large Megalodon tooth. Broken as it is, it's still the longest tooth of the year, so far.
