I'm Back

Pretty tough day on the water. Cold, in the low 40s, and blowing strong out of the northwest. We left Solomons Island at 6 AM

We hit the Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant right off, a little after sunrise.  A slow pick, we managed a few big fish, including this 37 inch fish.

With Calvert Cliffs behind us, we headed off for the eastern shore, where we fished down the side of Taylors Island, and down through the lower Hoopers Island bridge.

We tried a number of spots, but only 1 produced any fish. We were back at 1 PM, cold and wind burnt.

  1. Nice fish. I'd say worth the wind burn. I guess I'll be out Saturday with several thousand of my closest fishing buddies....
