After 2 days of rain and cold, a warm, sunny day on Memorial Day was well attended.Georgia found the tooth of the day with this 1 7/16 inch prehistoric White Shark tooth.
But I was pretty happy when I stooped down to scoop up this Tiger Shark tooth, and then noticed the small, but complete, except for the root, Cow Shark tooth.
Time for the local cactus to bloom. Believe it or not, this Eastern Prickly Pear Cactus is native to Maryland, and does well in the sand dunes next to the beach. There are several much larger clumps nearby.
