Beach Report 5/12/21

A bit cooler than yesterday, in the low to mid 50's with a slight NW wind, 5 kts or so, and partly cloudy skies. Skye and I were on our own again, because Georgia was Gabi sitting. A low, low tide.

I found this little tooth high and dry within a few minutes of looking.

Way up the beach, at the big slides, which we didn't get around I found this whale/dolphin vertebra still embedded in a lump of clay.
Not too many teeth, only ten in all, of which the best was this Snaggletooth, with, alas, a broken tip. I'll pretend this is bite damage; other than that the tooth was in great shape.
It clouded over for our return walk.
