Election 2020: Dominion Admits to Error

Not a lot today. WaPoo whines that Michigan’s top election official and Dominion warn counties about the risks of vote audits by outside groups. What are they so afraid of?

In letters sent to the Cheboygan and Antrim county clerks last week, the office of Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson (D) said the county boards have “no authority” to order audits — and instructed election clerks not to provide access to unaccredited outside parties to conduct them.
. . .
In a separate letter to all Michigan counties that use its equipment, Dominion warned that transferring machines to unaccredited auditors could void licensing agreements and render the equipment “unqualified for official use.”

I'm quite OK with rendering the Dominion equipment  “unqualified for official use.” Go back to hand counts, with three people counting batches of ballots, a Republican, a Democrat and a Libertarian, if there are enough of them. Breitbart,  Arizona’s Democrat Secretary of State Says Other States Concerned 2020 Election Audits Coming. And they should be. They're not worried that the audit will prove Biden won fair and square, that's for sure. At WaEx, Dominion blames 'human error' for voting machines not showing GOP ballots in Pennsylvania county. Ultimately all errors are human, machines do what they're built to do until they break. It's who tells them what to do that matters.

Dominion Voting Systems, a company beset by dubious election fraud claims in the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election, said "human error" was to blame after machines in a Pennsylvania county failed to display Republican ballots.

Nicole Nollette, the executive vice president of operations at Dominion, announced the conclusion during a two-hour special meeting held by the Luzerne County volunteer election board on Monday, according to the Times Leader. This contradicts Director of Elections Bob Morgan, who said last week a "coding error" from within Dominion caused the mishap during local primary elections last Tuesday.

"Dominion deeply regrets the confusion this error caused," Nollette said.

I assume they threw in the "dubious election fraud" claims to avoid getting sued by Dominion. WaPoo always says "false." AZ Central, Tech company running Arizona ballot recount backs out: 'They were done'

The Pennsylvania-based IT company that was in charge of running the hand recount of Maricopa County ballots is no longer involved in the audit. The contract with Wake Technology Services, Inc. ended May 14, the original completion date for the hand count, and the company chose not to renew its contract, according to Randy Pullen, an audit spokesperson and former state GOP chair. "They were done," he said. "They didn't want to come back."

Wake TSI was the subcontractor that developed and oversaw the procedures for recounting the county's nearly 2.1 million ballots, working under Cyber Ninjas, the state Senate's main contractor performing the overall audit of the county's general election results.

The audit was on break from May 14 until Monday, as high school graduations took place in the coliseum.

Pullen said that Scottsdale-based technology company StratTech Solutions took over Monday running the hand count, using Wake's procedures.

Via the Wombat's In The Mailbox: 05.26.21 the American Conservative: Big Left Foundations Fund Biased Barely Legal Voter Programs

According to the IRS, tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organizations are prohibited from engaging in “voter education or registration activities with evidence of bias that … have the effect of favoring a candidate or group of candidates.” But for many years 501(c)(3) voter engagement programs have been violating the spirit of this law (if not also the letter) by running programs clearly favoring Democratic politicians.

The evidence is often in plain sight. But more in the shadows is a detailed plan to bankroll these programs during the 2012 election, revealed because of a 2016 data hack of the George Soros-funded Open Society Foundations. The Soros memo from nine years ago may have also revealed the embryonic stages of this year’s effort by congressional Democrats to take over federal election laws: the so-called For the People Act (H.R. 1).

Political journalists frequently fail to find and expose the evidence that is right in front of them. Consider recent coverage of the Voter Participation Center, one of these 501(c)(3) organizations. A Time profile from February 2021 teased that it would reveal “The Secret History of the Shadow Campaign That Saved the 2020 Election.” Time’s secret-seekers credited Voter Participation Center with sending “ballot applications to 15 million people in key states” and getting 4.6 million people to return them.

“All the work we have done for 17 years was built for this moment of bringing democracy to people’s doorsteps,” said the organization’s CEO Tom Lopach, according to the magazine.

Unreported by Time is that the Voter Participation Center’s democracy delivery wasn’t for all the “people’s doorsteps.” The Voter Participation Center website proclaims that “We’re the New American Majority” and carefully defines this as “young people, people of color and unmarried women.”

Obviously, this leaves out some folks. In a suspiciously convenient coincidence, exit polling from the 2020 election shows their so-called “New American Majority” gave 60 percent or more of their votes to Joe Biden.

WaPoo whines that Jan. 6 commission remains long shot in Senate, even as Collins pitches last-ditch compromise. Of course she would.   Byron York  Daily Memo  at WaEx, Why GOP leaders don’t want a Capitol riot commission

It does not take an oracle to see such an investigation becoming hopelessly politicized. And then, Democrats want a timeline that will last through 2022 -- that is, through the midterm elections. Already, Democrats across the country are showing signs that they will try to make 2022 all about Trump. A big, election-year investigation would help them do that.

Stephen Kruiser at PJ Media, The Morning Briefing: Democrats' Pre-Election Lies Are Unraveling

When they weren’t lying outright, they were actively suppressing the truth. We’ve all got opinions on how many legitimate votes Joe Biden received last November (LOL at 81 million) but one thing is very obvious now: however many people actually did vote for him did so without complete or honest information.

Of course, the Dems and the MSM are all safe from repercussions now. The Oval Office fix is in, and even they know that Ol’ Gropes isn’t going be running again, no matter what his wife keeps telling him to say. Naturally, the mainstream media won’t be reporting on how awfully the mainstream media behaved to get Biden elected.

In parting, let me say that all of this really isn’t doing much for my skepticism about the legitimacy of the 2020 presidential election.

Liz Cheney whines, via AllahPundit at Hot Hair, My primary election will be important to the future of the party -- and the country. Liz, you're just not that important. As Charles DeGaul is reputed to have said "The graveyards are full of indispensable men." That goes for women, too.
