The
summer solstice occurs tonight at 6:34 EDT,
coinciding with a full "strawberry" moon, and marking the start of astronomical summer. As soon as Georgia and I got home from exercise, Skye started nagging about hers, and after lunch I walked her down to the beach. On the way we found this
Green Heron at the marina
It was warm and sunny at the beach, 85 F or so and calm. However, the humidity hasn't really come in yet, so it was quite pleasant
Skye did a lot of wading . . .
And a fair amount of sucking up to strangers.
"And just think of how many pets I can get from a crowd like that!"
