It was warm and humid at the beach today, for the final day of "Chesapeake Bay Awareness Week," about 85 F, but with enough west wind to make it tolerable.
There was a pretty decent crowd of people out celebrating their awareness of the Bay, by lying around and sun bathing. . .
Or wading in the shallow water. No Sea Nettles so far, so that's a reasonable option.
Walking the dog. . .
Or even taking the dog on her first swim, at least as far as we know.
I found this Clouded Sulfur sunbathing, or something.
The Day Lilies are in bloom in places on the cliffs. They probably got started from a garden that later slid down the cliffs as they eroded.
Mine!
