I left the house at 4:30 AM this morning for a commercial hook and line fishing trip with Walleye Pete out of Deale. I got home around 5:30 PM, with barely time for a beer, a shower, and dinner before a Long Beach Water Co-op Board meeting at 7:00 PM, which lasted until 9:30 PM. I haven't been this tired since major field work while I was working.
A floating mirage of the Bay Bridge before sunrise.
Pound net sunrise.
Pete, Dan, Dave and I caught 99 keeper (18-36 inch for commercial) Striped Bass, at various locations. Numerous large (30+ inch) fish were caught.
I promise to try harder tomorrow.
