And yet another day in Paradise. A mite steamy for paradise, perhaps, but good. It was partly cloudy, which is a good thing, allowing you to cool off now and then, because there was no wind to speak of.
After a 2 day break to recuperate and build up her strenght, we brought Skye back to the beach, at her request. She did well, making it down the Charlies rocks and back without bogging down
We found a pretty good selection of teeth, small including this Snaggletooth.
A new (at least for this year) butterfly, the Common Buckeye (Junonia coenia). A medium sized, fast flier. This one wasn't the most cooperative butterfly, but these are decent pictures.
I cheated heavily on this picture (not just the light and saturation to compensate for a lousy position and the resulting light). Can you figure out how; it's pretty easy to see if you know what to look for.
