Another gorgeous morning at the beach. Our heat wave is fading, and a strong west wind helped to keep it pleasant.
There are lots of Eastern Tiger Swallowtail butterflies "puddling"; I was lucky enough to have this one let me get close enough for a decent photo. I caught a glimpse of an Eastern Comma, but I couldn't persuade it to pose.
Joel and I decided that Skye and Red weren't well suited for kayak companions.
