Yes, scientists have been known to be practical jokers, and I can't think of a better practical joke than convincing the earnest, good looking wanna be scientist that she has to go naked swimming with the
dolphins belugas in near zero degree water. The astonishing thing is it worked, both convincing her, and that she got along with the belugas.
The skilled Russian diver took the plunge as the water temperature hit minus 1.5 degrees Centigrade.
The good news is that they took pictures, and the better news is that the Brits published them (of course)...
