It was a cool, mostly cloudy day at the beach today. We arrived sometime after noon, and hit the high tide near its peak. We had a major wash up of leaves and other debris after the remains of Tropical Storm Karen a few days ago.
One of the juvenile eagles flying past. We did see some adults, but only at a distance.
A cormorant drying its wings out on the green marker at the mouth of Flag Harbor. Look at the mirage on the horizon; James Island stretched and reflected over the Bay. You can even see some of it in the sail at the extreme right.
No way around the cliff today without getting wet feet.
We spotted the neighbor grazing at the edge of the boatyard on the way home. Sadly, it looks pretty skinny now; imagine what it might look like in March.
