Just what the nation needed, another paid day off for government workers. I don't mind honoring the idea, but to do it by giving government workers and those who follow the federal schedule a day off with pay seems, well, unnecessary. How about we have Federal workers take the day off for free, and donate their salary for that day to a cause of their choice?
This post is getting a late start because we went to breakfast with a friend. At the restaurant, the waitress commented on the late production of food being caused by an unexpected morning rush of people caused by the new holiday.
Onward! From Georgia, news from the audit. Fulton County doesn't' have the paperwork in order. JTN, Georgia audit documents expose significant election failures in state's largest county "Records suggest more than 100 batches of absentee ballots in Fulton County could be missing. Some experts see "election tabulation malpractice" as state officials seek to remove county's top election supervisors." Add another asterisk to President** Joe Biden
Just the News reviewed the documents Raffensperger's office collected from Fulton County during a risk-limiting audit conducted last November. Among the problems those memos exposed:
An official working for Raffensperger, who reviewed the documents flagged by Just the News, said they were clear evidence of significant human failure in Fulton County's election administration. The official said, for instance, the identical ballot batches likely resulted in about 1,000 extra votes being tallied.
- More than 100 batches of absentee ballots — each containing approximately 100 or more ballots — were assigned tracking numbers before being sent to one of the five absentee vote-counting machines in Fulton County but are not subsequently recorded in the handwritten logs showing which batches were scanned and counted, raising concerns the ballots may be missing.
- More than two dozen batches of absentee ballots were identified as having been double-scanned on the tally sheets.
- Five sequential batches of absentee votes each appeared with the exact same vote count of 392 for Biden, 96 for President Donald Trump, and 3 for Libertarian Jo Jorgensen, a count that state officials admitted was a statistical impossibility.
- Many control sheets for absentee ballot batches counted during the state's audit did not check a box indicating the ballot came from a secure container, raising the possibility that ballots were stored insecurely or that multiple batches of ballots were sealed in a single container.

His 29-page memo, as reported by Just the News, about “massive” election integrity and mis-management problems in George during the November 2020 election just may be the end of any doubt that Biden really deserves the moniker, His Fraudulency.
Matt Margolis at PJ Media, HUGE: Significant Election Irregularities Exposed in Fulton County, Georgia. Sundance at CTH, Ballot Problems Persist in Atlanta, Georgia – Missing Ballots, Missing Logs, Duplicated Ballot Scans and Worse
There are seven targeted voter regions where similar ballot issues and statistical impossibilities have been identified nationwide: Fulton County, Georgia; Wayne County, Michigan; Maricopa County, Arizona; Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; Clark County, Nevada; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and Madison, Wisconsin.
In these key areas, and a few others, massive data has been purchased by election integrity groups {Go Deep} and the results of their projects to assemble that data is soon to be made public.
CTH anticipates a massive amount of push-back from the U.S. Department of Justice based solely on the findings of cell phone data that has tracked “vote mules” via geolocation and mapping. These are ground-level activists that appear to have been part of a coordinated effort to collect ballots, walk them through a process where they were filled out in a single location, and then drop them off at collection and tabulation sites.

Politico reported, "The House passed legislation on Tuesday that would award the highest congressional honor to all members of law enforcement for their service during the Jan. 6 riot at the Capitol, with 21 Republicans voting against it.
"The chamber previously passed a measure in March that would have bestowed the Congressional Gold Medal to the Capitol Police and the D.C. Police Department. But the measure ran into headwinds in the Senate, which had separately honored Officer Eugene Goodman of the Capitol Police, who gained public acclaim for his heroism on Jan. 6 protecting lawmakers and their staff during the insurrection led by former President Donald Trump’s supporters."

After the Democrat voting bill, For the People Act, stirred up headlines with proposed drastic changes to US elections, the Republican Party is promising a response, especially US Congressman Byron Donalds (R-FL) who told The Floridian that he intends to introduce and help pass the “Vote Act.”
Rep. Donalds informed The Floridian that the GOP-backed voter bill intends to “make local agencies report how many ballots are in their possession after the polls close” and would also “require the United States Postal Service to postmark all ballots, they actually don’t postmark all ballots.” “If a ballot is metered, they don’t postmark it,” said Rep Donalds about what he learned in the House Oversight Committee. Rep. Donalds claims that the measure is important because the US Postal Service (USPS) currently does not postmark ballots during election time, an issue that the For the People Act has failed to address.
Donalds also intends to propose his bill “sometime within the next couple of weeks,” and has not specified which Republican colleagues he has been working with to move the measure along.

Another case is the decision by CNN’s Jake Tapper not to interview any Republicans who challenged the certification of electoral votes for President Biden because, he says, they continue “to erode confidence in our democracy” by supporting former President Donald Trump’s “Big Lie” that the 2020 election was stolen. Mr. Tapper gets to choose his guests, but is he outraged only at Republican election challengers? Thirty-two Democrats voted against accepting Electoral College results after President George W. Bush’s 2004 re-election, claiming voting machines were manipulated to create his 118,601-vote Ohio victory. Yet since the fall of 2014, Mr. Tapper has conducted at least 17 interviews of Democrats who voted to reject the 2004 certification. One leader of that effort, House Majority Whip James Clyburn, has been Mr. Tapper’s guest three times this year alone. The host interviewed another, Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee, this month. Other Democratic election deniers interviewed by Mr. Tapper since 2014 include Rep. Barbara Lee, Sen. Ed Markey, the now-deceased Rep. John Lewis, and former Reps. Lacy Clay and Jesse Jackson Jr. I think Democrats who voted in 2005 against certification and Republicans who did so in 2021 were both wrong. But will Mr. Tapper employ the same standard with Democratic election deniers that he has applied to Republicans?
