German TV On Their Transition to "Green Energy"

Via HotAir:
A few years ago, Germany decided to phase themselves off of nuclear energy while transitioning to a more wind-and-solar-centric energy grid — a so-called Energiewende that was supposed to set a pioneering green example for the rest of the world. Germans have now invested quite a bit of money into that endeavor through subsidies and state-mandated scheming, but all they have to show for it is an increased reliance on coal and higher energy prices hindering their economic opportunities. The jokes practically write themselves (language warning):

If only our own TV shows were as willing to take them on.
