The winds also gave us a blow out tide. Even though we walked well after the low, we saw beach we haven't seen in weeks. However, it was mostly sand, and our poor fossil hunting trend continues; we found only 6 small to medium teeth, 4 of them from one small shelly patch on Calvert Beach.
One day you wash up on the beach, wet and naked. Another day you wash back out. In between, the scenery changes constantly.

Beach Report 9/23/22 - First Full Day of Fall
And it felt like it, too. A minor rain front yesterday preceded a major cold front, which arrived last night with wind, clear skies and cool temperatures, in the upper 50s and lower 60s.
