Beach Report 3/14/21

It was 55 F under nearly cloudless skies, and 10 knots of WNW wind when we got to the beach.

I'm pleased to announce the opening of bikini season, although it would have been a touch chilly for my tastes.
You could almost imagine yourself in an airplane over a giant canyon.
Not the best fossil day, but we found 15 teeth, including this parasymphyseal Snaggletooth upper.
While we were walking, the wind shifted more northerly, and picked up to 20 with gusts to 30, enough to pick up sand. Fortunately it also warmed to 60 F.
