Aretha Franklin is coming out a a hiatus to plug a new album (they make albums, still?),
"Aretha Franklin Sings the Great Diva Classics" in which she covers a the songs of a number of younger artists, including Adele's "Rolling in the Deep". She appeared on Letterman last Monday to plug the new
record CD download and sang Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" . . .
and sat down with Dave and talked history. Say what you want, she's got pretty good pipes for 72. And you can still hear the unique Aretha touch:
And don't forget her fine acting:
With a burst of energy, Wombat-socho got
"Rule 5 Sunday: The Consolations Of The Elbows" out on Sunday night.
