We haven't been to the beach hardly at all since October started, for no really good reasons that I can think of. A few day of rain, a few days busy, I guess. We got a late start today, around 4. The wind is up from the south, and still rising, and blowing warm, humid air, in anticipation of the storm we expect tomorrow.
It was a good low tide, and lots of shell, but we only found about 13 sharks teeth, and nothing special.
It seems clear the Ospreys have gone for the year. We did see one eagle, this juvenile. You can really see Fall coming on strong; the beach grass is browning out, and the trees are starting to go yellow and orange.
One standard family unit also came down to enjoy the day.
