It was still mostly cloudy today, and cooler that it has been, but it had calmed down quite a lot. Masses of leaf litter and small twigs were washed up on the beach, along with big rolls of uprooted sea grass, probably washed out of creeks (likely Parkers). We did better for fossils, 26 shark's teeth, none remarkable, and one little skate ray plate segment.
One day you wash up on the beach, wet and naked. Another day you wash back out. In between, the scenery changes constantly.

Beach Reports for 8/21 and 8/22/21
A two day report. Yesterday we waited out a thunderstorm which dumped 2 inches of rain in 30 minutes, and left the beach with high tides and surf too rough for much shark's tooth hunting. We managed 3.
