Beach Report 8/11/21

Hot! 85 F, with a strong breeze from the south. Nothing exceptional fossil wise, we found 25 or so, and a couple of crab claws and ray plates. We did make a four year old's day a little brighter by replacing the sharks tooth she lost.
The Ospreys were working heavily in the shallow water on the north side of the jetty.
I think it might have been training day. There were a bunch of dead Gizzard Shad in the water, and I think the parent Ospreys were catching them and killing them, and putting them down for the fledglings to practice on.
