Beach Report 8/19/21

We got a slight break in the weather today, patly cloudy, low 80s, moderate humidity, and a breeze, which, while starting at nothing, eventually made it up to about 10 kts from the east.
One of our Great Blue Heron was out on the posing post. So what is that thing sticking out in front?
It appears to be feather out of place. Shame!
And speaking of flying objects . . .
Fossils were few and far between. There wasn't much gravel and shell hash stranded above the surf to look through, and the surf was crashing just hard enough to make looking below the line pretty tough. I spotted several I couldn't grab in time. But I got to this one, a well worn Snaggletooth lower.
