Following sewer damage in Prince Frederick caused by Tropical Storm Isaias on Aug. 4, 2020, the Calvert County Health Department, Environmental Health Division, conducted sampling and analysis of the water at Scientists Cliffs Beach, Brownies Beach, Chesapeake Station, Windward Key, Breezy Point and North Beach on Aug. 10, 2020. The results of those tests revealed that indicator bacteria levels were all within acceptable limits and all beaches that were previously closed may now reopen.Except today. It's been raining all day and we decided to pass on the beach and take a street walk instead.
One day you wash up on the beach, wet and naked. Another day you wash back out. In between, the scenery changes constantly.
