It Couldn't Happen to a Nicer Crowd

Homesick Jihadi ‘Cream Puff Brigade” Now Held Captive By ISIS
We guess leaving Europe to sign up with the ISIS head choppers wasn’t the best idea, nor was expressing your thoughts about wanting to go home. Now they’ll probably be losing their heads. Oh well.
They were stripped of their weapons and marched as “traitors” to a punishment centre in the Syrian city of Raqqah, the so-called capital of the self proclaimed ISIS caliphate. They are now said to be “mistreated on a daily basis”.
As well as the Brits, there are three Frenchmen, two Belgians and two Germans, according to German magazine FOCUS.
The apparently timid volunteers are believed to have grown sick of the brutality of their fanatical leaders and the discomforts of living in a war zone.
Focus, which is renowned in Germany for its strong links with the country’s BND intelligence service, said: “In the eyes of ISIS they are considered traitors who deserve death.”
It is understood that their crazed captors may entertain ransom offers for them, but it is unclear whether any channels of communication have been opened with either their families or the governments of their home countries.
Britain, anyway, has a policy of not paying terrorist ransom demands for hostages.
Western intelligence services estimate some 3,500 Europeans are now fighting for ISIS, which is threatening to behead British aid worker David Haines, 44, in neighbouring Iraq within days.
That ought to help recruiting in the west.
