Despite my pronouncement of a sunny day on the schadenfreude post, by the time we got down to the beach, a band of clouds came in and covered most of the sky. With a 42 degree 15 knot wind, more north than west, it was a tad chilly.
Not much happening there, either. One trio of Semipalmated Sandpipers ran down the beach ahead of us. We ran into Ray, looking for fossils, but it was not a good day for teeth; Georgia and I had one little one that we spotted simultaneously.
And a lone drake Bufflehead was diving for food in the harbor,
