Beach Report 11/9/21

On the way down to the beach, I spotted this Red Shouldered Hawk hanging out in the trees over the retention pond on the street behind us.
An absolutely stunning Fall day here. 70 F, clear and windless (well maybe 5 from the east). And we got there pretty close to low tide.
A big girl went by out front. I couldn't read the name but Marinetraffic.com identifies it as the Carnival Legend, headed home to Baltimore. An older cruise ship, she only holds 2,100 passengers and 950 crew. Older pictures show her an all white hull, but she recently got a new paint job.
Not a bad day for fossils, about 30 shark's teeth, but nothing special.
