Beach Report 7/5/21

The beach was a whole lot less crowded today than yesterday. I guess a lot of people went back to the city after the fireworks display. The wonder is that they cleaned the beach nearly perfectly; I found only one piece of expended fireworks during the walk.
It was 90 at home but only low 80s at the beach, with strong south wind that had enough chop to make finding teeth in the surf hard; I only found 3, and 2 of those were tiny. Oh, and a crab claw. Skye found lots of friends, both human and canine.
