Democrats think they can lie without fear, because the media covers for them. Brandon Morse at Red State finds a Texas Democrat who Returns to Texas for "Good Faith" Talk on Voting Laws but It's Too Late.
I immediately doubt the intent of returning for “good faith” talks about Texas’s voting security laws. They all know it’s a losing battle and that this law is going to be passed no matter what they do, as it should. I suspect that the real reason for returning has a lot to do with the fact that their districts were asked if they appreciated their representative abandoning their post to jaunt off to D.C. and the answer was “no.”
Nothing causes a Democrat to abandon their “principles” faster than bad polling.
But even if this theory weren’t true, the fact is that “good faith” discussion went out the window the moment the Democrats hopped onto their bus with a case of Miller Light.

From Matt Margolis at PJ Media on how Trump Explains Why He Has Not Announced 2024 Decision Yet.
At Breitbart, Gen. Mark Milley Dodges Questions on His Fears of a Trump Coup: ‘I’m Not Going to Comment’ What an idiot.
According to Trump, “antiquated” and “ridiculous” campaign finance laws are to blame.
“I can’t really because of campaign finance rules, regulations, very complicated, very stiff, and frankly very antiquated if you want to know the truth. It’s ridiculous,” Trump explained, though he said he’ll be talking about his political plans soon. “I will be talking about it and I think that people will be very happy.”
At ET Michael Welsh calls for What Is to Be Done? Restore Federalism and Elect Trump as Vice President. He's a DeSantis man.
Trump as veep is a whole different story than Trump as Grover Cleveland redux. For one thing, he’d be the first vice presidential candidate in history who could bring 70 million votes with him on day one of the campaign. For another, he’d suddenly become Trump Unchained, free to stomp around the country like Godzilla, flame-throwing his enemies and stomping their cities into matchsticks. In massive rallies, he could whip up his followers to furies of vengeance, terrify the bed-wetters at The New York Times and plainly demonstrate his and his followers’ resolve to expose the irregularities of 2020 and put it front and center, whether the media likes it or not.
It’s the perfect solution. Trump’s thirst for revenge could finally be slaked, his voters assured that there will be a day of reckoning. Since the veep has almost no Constitutional power, the Democrats would be hard-pressed to argue that the Donald, his residence now declared in New York or New Jersey to get around the Constitutional provision that candidates for president and veep be from different states, would be a threat to the Republic.
