Georgia smoked me in the quality department on fossils today, finding both a good sized White Shark, and a Snaggletooth on our own beach, one on the way up and one on the way back. I had more teeth. The real winner, though, was the kid whose family stopped us to identify a tooth fragment he found that was a real sliver, about 2 inches long, off the side of a Megalodon. Sorry I didn't get a picture.
One day you wash up on the beach, wet and naked. Another day you wash back out. In between, the scenery changes constantly.

Beach Report 7/23/21
An astonishingly nice day here for July, with a mild north breeze bringing temperatures in the upper 70s and very little humidity.

Lower 70's here in Phoenix all day. I thought I was on an acid trip. I miss the Chesapeake though.
