Election 2020: Democrat Commits "Insurrection", Media Yawn

Starting with the Wombat's In The Mailbox: 07.22.21 (Evening Edition), which gives us Mary Chastain who reports More Voters Want Congress to Probe BLM Riots Than Jan. 6, "Over 60% of people in every racial group prefer the BLM investigation." But way more journolists and Democrat politicians want to pin Jan. 6 on Trump and Republicans, so guess what will get investigated. Also, at Victory Girls: Fired January 6 DEA Agent Lured By FBI?. An infuriating story, if true. Angelo Codevilla wonders Why Not Award Ashli Babbitt’s Killer the Medal of Honor? "If the killing of the Air Force veteran in the Capitol on January 6 was a salvific act, why hide the killer? Why not celebrate him?" At Gateway, Jim Hoft, has BRAVO! Greg Kelly Airs Photos of All of the Jan. 6 Political Prisoners Still in Gulag without Trial. Julie Kelly at Am Great  helps A January 6 Detainee Speak Out "He corroborates accounts from other detainees, including reports of abuse by prison guards, inedible food, and zero access to the outdoors, religious services, or physical activity." At Front Page, Capitol Breacher Gets 8 Months, "Conservatives go to prison; leftists go home."
Contrast the treatment of the non-violent Hodgkins with what happened when Islamist-socialist Linda Sarsour and her band of screaming protesters disrupted another official proceeding in 2018, in this case the confirmation hearing of Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

“At least 227 demonstrators were arrested between the start of the nomination hearings on Tuesday and the end of testimony on Friday, according to the U.S. Capitol Police. Most of those charged this week with disorderly conduct, crowding or obstructing paid fines of $35 or $50,” NPR reported at the time.

The lesson here with this double standard on official proceeding-disrupting appears to be that conservatives who do it go to prison, but leftists who do it go home. Many of the people arrested in connection with January 6 are still rotting in jail awaiting trial.

Essentially, what Hodgkins did was trespass and demonstrate without permission on the Senate floor where he stood for 15 minutes waving a pro-Trump flag and taking selfies.

Speaking of which, I wonder how this "insurrection" case will be handled; aren Townsend at Hot Hair, Rep. Hank Johnson arrested at voter rights protest... irony ensued and at NYPo, Georgia Democratic congressman arrested in voting rights protest (my bold).

Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.) and eight others were arrested Thursday after they took part in a voting rights protest that illegally blocked the door of a Senate office building on Capitol Hill.

Johnson, 66, who has represented a majority-African American district east of Atlanta since 2007, tweeted that he was “protesting against Senate inaction on voting rights legislation & filibuster reform.

Lock him up and throw away the key until all the Jan. 6th protestors have been sentenced.

Politico reports ‘Deadly serious’: Pelosi goes to war with GOP over Jan. 6, "The speaker has made overseeing an investigation of the deadliest attack on the Capitol in two centuries into a core mission." Kerry Picket at WaEx, House Republicans could target Liz Cheney's committee assignment, for playing Nancy Pelosi's foot soldier. "In early July, when Cheney's name first surfaced as a possible across-the-aisle appointment by Pelosi, McCarthy told reporters, “I’m not making any threats about committee assignments. But you know how Congress works.”"

At Breitbart, Poll: Most Arizona Republicans Believe Audit Will Show Trump Won State. And that is what Democrats fear, another asterisk for President** Biden.

And something to make you go hmmm from Joe Hoft at Gateway Pundit, Elections Assistance Commission (EAC) Is Being Sued for Secretly Permitting Internet Access on Election Machines, essentially admitting that most current voting machines can wirelessly connect to the internet.
In a strange series of events, the Elections Assistance Commission (EAC) is being sued for updating its policy and allowing voting machines to include Internet access. These policy changes were discussed in private with voting machine companies and silently passed by the EAC without required public debate.

Stacy McCain, Fact Check: Were 2020 Polls ‘Rigged’? Is There Even Any Need to Ask Anymore?. Most polls are always rigged. Usually, early on, they are way optimistic on Democrat prospects, hoping to depress Republican turn out. As the election get closer, they veer a little closer to the truth, hoping not to look too bad when the election actually occurs. This was a weird election by any standards, and they didn't even bother trying to really sample the population.

Cutie Pavlich at Town Hall, says It's Official: The NSA Unmasked Tucker Carlson

Three weeks after Fox News host Tucker Carlson accused the National Security Agency of reading his communications, the agency has confirmed he was unmasked.

"The nation’s top electronic spy agency found that Carlson was mentioned in communications between third parties and his name was subsequently revealed through 'unmasking,' a process in which relevant government officials can request the identities of American citizens in intelligence reports to be divulged provided there is an official reason, such as helping them make sense of the intelligence documents they are reviewing," the Record reports.

The Democrat Texas -> D.C Super Spread event is coming along nicely;  PM, Psaki refuses to provide number of 'breakthrough' cases of COVID in the White House and sundance at CTH, Psaki Refuses to Give The Number of Vaccinated White House Staff Who Contracted COVID: “Why Do You Need That Information?”  "Can you imagine the backlash if President Trump’s spokesperson gave that answer?" So you are free to presume it's running rampant.

Also from the Wombat's In The Mailbox: 07.22.21 (Evening Edition), Behind the Black has Today’s blacklisted American: Democrats introduce Senate bill demanding companies censor social media, in other words, you and me. Breitbart, Republicans Demand Answers on White House ‘Censorship Program’ with Facebook. Yeah? Good luck with that.

McMorris Rodgers tweeted, “@POTUS, please provide a list of EVERY social media company you are working with to CENSOR content your administration deems as ‘disinformation.’”

She added, “Please produce any written policy or plan outlining your administration’s censorship program.”
