Beach Report 7/18/21

Skye and I were on our own again, as Georgia is nursing a slight cold, well maybe. A very nice day, in the high 70s - low 80s after a front moved through last night with a brief thunderstorm, followed by cooler, drier air.
The tide was nearly dead high, and fossil hunting wasn't great, but among the 12 teeth I did find was this 1 1/4 inch White Shark tooth. I wish I had the presence of mind to do . . .
. . . this, and take a picture of it as I found it, but, alas, the drive to pick it up was too strong. This is just a run of the mill Carcharhinus tooth
I guess it's time for the Coast Guard to service the buoy that sits out past the harbor.
