Another hot, steamy day, 90s at home and mid 80s at the beach. These pictures
are from yesterday, but except for clouds building in the north today, and more
people because of the weekend, they might as well be from today.
One of several Great Blue Herons that have taken to hanging around at the beach
and fishing in the shallows (which are full of minnows).
Skye and I stopped in the shade before venturing on. Pretty high tides and
A school of peanut bunker (small Menhaden) well in range of the heron.
Skye takes a cooling dip in the stream with a couple of admiring kids watching.
