On the Beach Today

We met Steve:

Paddling with Steve.

At home it was 64 F and comfy out, while down at the beach it was 44 F and blowing 16 or so knots from the south. We saw someone out paddling as we walked up the Bay, and when we got back to Calvert Beach he was just pulling his kayak up on the beach at the Calvert Beach steps. We talked to him a while, and found he was staying with someone we knew overnight who wasn't going to be home for a while. After we got back to the car, we circled around and invited over for a cup of coffee and a cookie.

Then his host came home and invited him to a brewery...
