Trevor and I left the harbor sometime around 5 for "Location X". The jigging bite was not fast and furious, but we did manage a limit of four of the now legal 20+ inch fish.
We tried top water in the shallows, and got a couple of shorts, too.
The weather tried to get a thunderstorm going. While we heard a distant rumble or two, we were never threatened seriously.
We left with plenty of sun in the sky, but had to idle around for 30 minutes outside the harbor as the dredge worked to put the dredge line to bed for the night.
