We finally made it back to the beach, after a week of frigid temperatures, cold rain, errands, warm rain and thunderstorms. It's been a wild ride weather wise, but today felt about right for January. Bright and sunny, breezy, and about 45.
Not much of excitement happening today; the tide was high, and fossil hunting was poor. Georgia and I each found only a single unremarkable shark's tooth each, but Georgia beat me out by finding the year's first Black Drum tooth.
The flock of buffies around the harbor mouth seems to have expanded to about 20 birds (some are out of the frame, either outside or further back.
