I took off this afternoon and did a little fishing. Just to get that question over with, the fishing was awful; I came home with one little Bluefish, having caught nothing else but a few small stripers. I did drift by this beach where two Bald Eagles were stealing carrion (a dead and thoroughly rotten fish) from a group of Black Buzzards.
The eagles took off when they thought I got too close. Here is the juvenile, who took the dead fish with him, but dropped it before this shot.
