Reg Presely, Frontman of the Trogs, one of the "English Invasion" bands of the mid 60's died earlier this week. Among there hits were "Wild Thing", covered by Jimi Hendrix among others. His birth name was Reginald Maurice Ball, but he changed his name to Presely in imitation of Elvis. Not the hottest, or longest lasting of the crowd, but hey, that's the way it goes sometimes. One of their other songs:
Dig those hippie chicks!
My thanks, and apologies, to Wombat-Socho at The Other McCain for including this in the weekly Rule 5 roundup "Who Gives a F*** About A G*ddamn Grammy" despite the fact that I sent it to the wrong mailbox.
