One day you wash up on the beach, wet and naked. Another day you wash back out. In between, the scenery changes constantly.

Father's Day Fishing
Dan invited Jerry and me out fishing on his boat early this morning. We were out before the sun was up.
We found fish in a familiar location. They were hitting top water plugs, the bigger and splashier the better.
We made the rookie mistake of keeping our six keepers early. The big ones started hitting after a little while. We could easily have got all our "over 28s" and filled our unders with 25-27 inch fish. Oh well.
The cormorants were all fishing too, and coming up with fish in their mouths. Undoubtedly the same bait the Striped Bass were eating.
