Back from the Potomac

Bill invited Ron and I fishing out of Point Lookout again, and again, we met at Buzz's where Bill is keeping his boat, but trailered it to Point Lookout to save a long run over the water. The day started with blue skies, and moderate winds, not seen back in the marina.
Flocks of Canada Geese flew overs Buzz's sometimes settling in nearby fields. I heard some shots in the distance, which could have been geese or duck hunters.
A pair of Baldies with a small nest across from the ramp at Point Lookout. Better get busy, nesting season is coming quick
The bright weather didn't last. The clouds moved in about a soon as we got on the water at noon. Shortly after we pulled the boat at 4:30. the rain started, and it rained hard on the 40 mile drive back from Ridge.
Fish were caught. Not a lot, but a few were good sized.
